- A Humidity Sensor unit is installed in each trough and the humidity of the air is monitored on a real-time basis.
- The required hygrometric difference between the wet & dry bulb temperatures and the maximum temperature for withering can be preset on the system.
- Synthesized voice alarms are given when the air conditions are not within the set parameters.
- The system also records the activity on a database which can be viewed as a time graph to indicate the activity during the 12 to 14 hours and could be printed as well.
- The system also has a provision to control the fans and the heaters, without the requirement of employing a person to monitor the withering process.
